September 11, 2023 marks the beginning of an incredible journey as we welcome 32 international students to the SDSI study programme!

We have magnificent news! In September 2022 the SDSI consortium signed a Grant Agreement with the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Starting with the study year 2023/2024, SDSI becomes an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s programme.

We are happy to announce another round of applications for studies at SDSI for the study year 2022 / 2023.

On February 15, 2022, applications for studies at SDSI will be opened. You will have a month to submit your application, which consists of several parts, including service industry-related homework. Deadline for applications to studies at SDSI extended to June 30, 2021!

The new international Master’s degree in service design, the Service Design Strategies and Innovation (SDSI) announces a call for student applications. Admissions will be open during June 1-20, 2021.

Service Design Strategies and Innovations (SDSI) is a new joint master’s programme with a focus on interdisciplinary studies and cross-specialisation in design, management, business and social sciences. We will help you become a versatile service innovator who can enable change in public and private organisations through strategic design, management and creative leadership.

The study process includes study periods abroad to Kuldīga in Latvia and Rovaniemi in Finland. The study year 2021 / 2022 will be organized mostly on-line, with four on-site weeks (once in two months) during the 1st study year. SDSI locations are ‘safe countries’ characterised by societies striving for social and economic development, wellbeing, and culture.

Through their international offices, partner countries offer well-established networks for finding suitable student accommodations and public transport, with airports nearby. Partner countries are internationally known for the beauty of their natural resources, green forests, and the Baltic Sea, and unlimited options exist for hiking, exploring, finding peace of mind and spending quality time on your studies.
